Gibbs Ascender Testing

On-site Research and TestingATTENTION INVERMERE SEMINAR PARTICIPANTS! Put on your critical thinking and systems analysis cap and get directly involved in rope rescue research and testing. As part of our program of ongoing research and study of rope rescue issues, we utilize an on-site drop testing tower and slow pull test machine, both with data acquisition capabilities. If you have a specific technique, rigging configuration, or simply a curiosity that you would like to see tested, contact us in advance of the seminar to see if we can plan it into your seminar. There is no charge for the testing; however, you would need to bring any materials (rope, carabiners, etc.) that you would like to see tested. By mutually sharing ideas and information, we move towards a greater collective under-standing of the technical aspects of rope rescue.
